I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are in full gear for three whole weeks until our next Holiday break. Hang on tight! This ride goes fast!

Christmas Store December 5-9. Our turn to look through the store will be Monday, December 5 from 11:30-12.





Do you want a 2012 Dixie Direct card? They are on sale now for $35. If you have a book that your child brought home and you are not interested in purchasing one simply send it back asap. They are due back December 9.





Donate your canned foods to our annual canned food drive. The winning class will recieve an ice cream party. The food drive will go through December 16.

Hello there! I sent home our first homework pack lasta night. It included the following:

Math pg. 15, 18
Comprehension pg. 3
Spelling Practice
20 minute reading each night
Parent/Student Homework policy contract

The Parent/Student Homework policy is to simply help guide you to a successful experience with homework. It is not mandatory that you set up your time that way, but it is encouraged to adopt a few of those practices.

August 2011!!!

School is just around the corner! I am axcited to meet my new students and learn from them. This year has a lot in store! My husband and I are expecting our first child. Her name is Lilly Marie and she should be here sometime around October 9th! I have been planning ahead to get my classroom organized so my students will be able to transition easily to their substitute when Lilly comes. I am in the progress of finding the very best teacher to take over when I leave to be with Lilly. I plan to be back to the clasrrom as soon as Lilly is ok without her Mom for a few hours. I absolutely love teaching and am excited to get this year going! See you the 15th!
